Parents
Welcome Parents!
Congratulations on having a university student in your family! We are excited to welcome your student to our campus and support their needs in any way that we can. The Hillel staff is always meeting with students to talk about what they want to experience on campus and provide them access to the many programs and groups.
Being the parent of a college student is tough. For 18 years, you spent many late nights helping with homework, imparting values, and preparing them for the future. Now, your child is away and you have to trust in their choices and the beliefs you instilled in them. Hillel strives to create a welcoming and inclusive community in which to support Jewish and non-Jewish students. We provide a “home away from home” environment for our students, which enriches their college experience knowing they have a safe place in which to ask questions, find solace, learn, and grow.
Though every student has a very different connection to their Jewish identity, Hillel provides a space where they are all united.
Please let us know if you are planning on coming to visit or having any questions or concerns. To keep up with what is going on here at Hillel, sign up for our newsletter by clicking on the “Home” tab, or follow us on Facebook and Instagram!
